At Mathematics, a boutique creative studio in Sydney, Australia, I embarked on a transformative journey when Luke Steele, approached the studio.
Inspired by the cinematic masterpiece "The Holy Mountain" (1973), Luke approached us for the visual branding of his new band, Empire of the Sun.
Drawing inspiration from the band's eclectic blend of music and persona, we sought to translate their vibrant energy and avant-garde sensibilities into every aspect of their visual presentation, including logo design and styling.
Our collaboration evolved into the production of the band's inaugural music video for the single "Walking On A Dream." The success of this video served as a testament to our creative synergy and set the stage for further exploration.
Building upon this momentum, I was entrusted with bringing to life the next music video for the single "We Are The People." This time, our creative journey led us to Las Pozas, a surreal enclave of concrete sculptures nestled within a forest just outside of Mexico City.
